New Delhi. The Department of Telecommunication (DoT) can now advise network provider companies to do 5G internet testing in villages including cities. Recently, the department has given 6 months of time to 5G internet testing across the country to the country’s leading network provider Airtel, Reliance JIO and Vodafone Idea. Media sources have revealed that MTNL, a government-owned network provider company, can get approval for 5G testing by depositing a charge of Rs 5,000. Later, the company will get a spectrum for testing.
