Based on J.D. Vance’s #1 New York Times Bestseller and directed by Academy Award-winner Ron Howard, HILLBILLY ELEGY is a robust individual memoir that gives a window into one family’s individual journey of survival and triumph. By following three colourful generations via their distinctive struggles, J.D.’s family story explores the highs and lows that outline his family’s expertise.

J.D. Vance (Gabriel Basso), a former Marine from southern Ohio and present Yale Law scholar, is on the verge of touchdown his dream job when a family disaster forces him to return to the house he’s tried to overlook. J.D. should navigate the advanced dynamics of his Appalachian family, together with his unstable relationship together with his mom Bev (Amy Adams), who’s combating habit.
