Babul Supriyo’s pain after resigning from Modi cabinet – ‘I was told, I gave’

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is going to reshuffle the cabinet for the first time in his second term. In view of this, Union Minister Babul Supriyo has resigned from the post of minister. Asansol MP Supriyo has given this information by posting a Facebook post. In this post, his pain has also been seen on resigning. He said that he was asked to resign and he has given. Babul Supriyo thanked PM Modi for giving him a place in the Council of Ministers. He said that he is happy that there is not a single stain of corruption on him. He is continuously serving the people of his constituency. Supriyo has written in his post- ‘When smoke rises, there is definitely a fire somewhere. I myself want to tell you all that I have resigned from the post of minister. I was asked to do so and I did.’

‘Sad for myself but happy for the new ministers’
Babul Supriyo has also congratulated the faces from Bengal joining the new cabinet. He has written- ‘My best wishes to the new colleagues going to join the cabinet from Bengal. I am sad for myself but I am very happy for those people.

Apart from Supriyo, these ministers also resigned
Babul Supriyo was the Minister of State for Environment, Forest and Climate Change in the Modi Cabinet. Apart from Supriyo, Health Minister Dr Harsh Vardhan, HRD Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal Nishank, Santosh Gangwar, Debosree Choudhary and DV Sadananda Gowda have resigned from the Modi cabinet. Apart from this, there is also news of resignation of Sanjay Dhotre and Rao Saheb Danve. At the same time, Thaawarchand Gehlot has been appointed as the Governor of Karnataka only on Tuesday.
