TECNO is all set to bring another offering to its POVA smartphone lineup. The latest model in this lineup will be the Powa 2, which will debut in the Indian market in the first week of next month. The device will be launched as the successor to the Tecno Powa which was launched in the country in 2020. Ahead of next week’s launch, the online availability of the device has also been confirmed.

Will be available for sale through Amazon in India. The e-commerce retailer has also created a dedicated page for the handset that hints at key features. According to the Amazon product page, Powa 2 will be launched with MediaTek Helio G85 processor. The listing only mentions processor details and not the configuration. However, we may get to see 6GB and 128GB storage configurations. The Amazon listing further reveals an AI quad-camera setup with 48MP main sensor. The camera setup also includes three LED flash modules to enhance low-light shots. The only other Powa 2 feature that stands out is the battery capacity. The device will be packed with a massive 7,000mAh battery with 18W fast charging. It is one of the few Tecno offerings with this huge battery setup. Unfortunately, the Amazon listing doesn’t say anything about the display size and panel type. It remains to be seen whether the device comes with an IPS LCD panel or an AMOLED panel. However, considering that it will be an affordable mid-range smartphone. We can get to see a punch-hole cutout for the selfie camera.

will launch?

Tecno has also confirmed the launch of the Pova 2 smartphone in India on August 2. According to the official teaser, the upcoming handset will be an affordable gaming smartphone. With just a few days left for the official launch, key details such as specifications and online availability have also been confirmed. Pricing details are still unknown.
