The uproar in Parliament is not stopping the opposition, meanwhile, senior Congress leader P Chidambaram has made a new claim. He said the government will continue to deny the spying scandal until it is known who is the Indian customer of the Israeli spyware Pegasus. He also said that it will soon be revealed who bought this spyware. Former Home Minister Chidambaram tweeted, ‘Who is an Indian customer? Is this the Government of India? Is there any agency of Government of India? Is this a private entity?’ “I am sure the name of the customer will be revealed soon. Till then the government will deny the allegations of espionage. Last week, an international group of media organizations said that more than 300 mobile numbers were probably monitored in India through Pegasus spyware. There were two ministers, more than 40 journalists, three opposition leaders, besides several activists. The government has been rejecting all allegations of the opposition in this matter.
