During the last 24 hours, 3,614 new cases of Covid-19 were reported, which is the lowest number of cases reported in a day after 12 May 2020. During this 89 people have died. So far 5 lakh 15 thousand 803 people have lost their lives due to corona in the country. The rate of patients recovering from corona has increased to 98.71 percent. According to the data of the Union Health Ministry, the number of corona patients in India is now only 0.09 percent. The recovery rate from Covid-19 at the national level has also improved further and has reached 98.71 percent. With this, the number of infected in the country has increased to 4,29,87,875 while the number of patients under treatment has come down to 40,559. The ministry said that the number of patients under treatment has come down by 1,660 during the last 24 hours. According to the data, 3,604 new cases were reported on 12 May 2020, after that this is the lowest number of cases in a day. The ministry said that 4,24,31,513 patients have been cured so far while the mortality rate is 1.2 percent. Meanwhile, more than 179.91 crore doses of Covid-19 vaccine have been given in the country so far. It is noteworthy that on 7 August 2020, the number of infected in the country had exceeded 20 lakh, on 23 August 2020, 30 lakh and on 5 September 2020, more than 40 lakh. The total cases of infection crossed 50 lakh on 16 September 2020, 60 lakh on 28 September 2020, 70 lakh on 11 October 2020, 80 lakh on 29 October 2020 and 90 lakh on 20 November. On 19 December 2020, these cases had crossed one crore in the country. Last year, on May 4, the number of infected had crossed 20 million and on June 23, 2021, crossed 30 million. On January 26 this year, the cases had crossed four crores.
