Bangalore: Dabang Delhi () has won the 8th season of (). In the final match, Delhi defeated Patna Pirates 37-36. Delhi has won the league title for the first time. In the last season, the team has lost against Bengal Warriors in the final match. At the same time, the team of Patna was playing the final match for the fourth time. The team had won the title thrice earlier, but this time missed out on winning the trophy by just one point. Vijay scored the highest 14 points for Dabang Delhi. There are 8 touch points, 5 bonus points and one tackle point. Naveen Kumar () supported Vijay in the match and he scored 13 points. For Patna, Sachin scored 10 and Guman Singh scored nine points but the team had to bear the brunt of a strategic mistake in the last minute. Patna’s team ended all their substitutions in the 34th minute of the match. Due to which his three top raiders Sachin, Guman and Prashant Kumar had to sit on the bench in the last six minutes. From the very beginning of the match, both the teams had a close fight. After the first three minutes, both the teams were tied with three points each, but Patna took advantage of the weakness of Delhi’s defense to take the team all out to take a 12-9 lead. At half time, Patna’s team was ahead 17-15. Raiders dominated throughout the match. Both the teams scored only 4-4 points in defence. Meanwhile, Naveen completed his 200 raid points this season. He became the fourth raider this season to reach 200 raid points. Pawan Sehrawat scored 304 raid points. Mohammadreza Chianeho of Patna was the first successful defender of the season. He scored 89 tackle points in the league.
