The iconic East Bengal membership will make its debut within the Indian Super League this season, the organisers of the soccer event introduced on Sunday.The century-old membership’s inclusion in ISL this season was on anticipated strains after its new traders Kolkata-based Shree Cement Limited, picked up the bid paperwork to enter the ISL.
A consortium of Shree Cement Limited and East Bengal, referred to as Shree Cement East Bengal Foundation, had submitted the bid paperwork to FSDL.East Bengal would be the 11th workforce within the competition, which can be performed at three venues of Goa this yr because of the COVID-19 pandemic.
