More than half of Facebook’s list of banned organizations and individuals are alleged foreign terrorists. These mainly include the Middle East, South Asians and Muslims. Facebook divided these groups into three levels
Most of the restrictions are mentioned in Tier 1 of Facebook. This includes terrorist organizations, hate groups, and criminal organizations. Tier 2 has the lowest level of restrictions. This includes organizations running armed social movements. The Intercept said that most of the right-wing US anti-government militias are run almost entirely by white people. None of these organizations are allowed to create accounts or post anything on Facebook.
