Mohali: Former Indian cricket team captain Virat Kohli is ready to play his 100th Test match. Test match is to be played between India and Sri Lanka in Mohali from March 4. Virat played his first test match against West Indies in 2011. Now 33-year-old Virat will be India’s 12th player to play 100 Tests and 70th overall. On this occasion, former veteran players of the Indian team wished and congratulated Virat Kohli. The BCCI posted the video of these players on social media. The person who played the most 200 Tests in this video said, ‘I first heard about Virat in the 2007 tour of Australia, then he was participating in the Under-19 World Cup. We used to talk about your batting. Describing Virat Kohli, Sachin further said, Me and Virat should play together later. It was clear that he was very good at learning new things. He always wanted to be better at his game. Sachin further said, your biggest contribution to Indian cricket has been motivating young players. Apart from Sachin, the BCCI President and former Indian captain, as well as Indian coach Rahul Dravid also congratulated Virat. Ganguly said, it has been a wonderful journey. They still have a lot to achieve. On behalf of BCCI and former players, I congratulate him on his achievement of 100 Test matches. Coach Rahul Dravid said- Playing one Test is a big deal, playing 100 is a big achievement. They would be very proud of it. He also took over the captaincy of the team in the last 5-6 years.
