IslamabadPakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan has said that money has become a big player in cricket and countries like New Zealand and England cannot dare to cancel the tour of India as India is controlling the game. The former Pakistan captain also said that England have let themselves down by canceling the tour of Pakistan by their men’s and women’s teams. In an interview to Middle East Eye, Imran said, “Money has become a big player for players and cricket boards. India has money so it is controlling world cricket at the moment. Whatever he says happens. No one has the guts to do this to India, because everyone knows money is involved. After the cancellation of New Zealand and England team’s tour of Pakistan, India’s name was dragged in the statement by some Pakistan ministers and former cricketers. He also reportedly blamed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) for canceling the tour. A senior BCCI official had also recently told IANS that Pakistan has an old habit of bringing India’s name on every small and big thing without any evidence.
