Has postponed the hearing on the petition of the actress which was filed against the fine of Rs 20 lakh imposed on her. Juhi Chawla along with 2 others had filed a petition in the Delhi High Court, which was rejected by the court and imposed a fine of Rs 20 lakh on the petitioners. Justice Sanjeev Narula, who heard the matter, has also recused himself from the case and has been asked to transfer the matter to another bench. Now the second bench will hear the matter on July 29. Earlier last week, Justice JR Midha had rejected Juhi Chawla’s appeal instead of dismissing it and directed the petitioners to pay the fine of Rs 20 lakh imposed on them at the earliest. The court had also given a week’s time for this, although Juhi Chawla has not yet paid the fine of 20 lakhs. The Delhi High Court on June 4, while dismissing Chawla’s plea challenging the 5G wireless network technology, imposed a fine of Rs 20 lakh on him and fellow petitioners. The court had said that the petition was full of lapses, misuse of the legal process and was filed to gain publicity.
