The Union Territory of Ladakh reported 80 new coronavirus cases and three further deaths, taking the cumulative figures to three,499 infections and 44 fatalities, officers mentioned Wednesday.
There are 938 lively coronavirus cases within the union territory now, out of which 502 are in Leh and 436 in Kargil, they mentioned, including 2,517 sufferers have recovered until date.
Three sufferers two in Kargil and one in Leh — succumbed to the illness throughout a 24-hour interval, taking the general toll to 44, the officers mentioned this morning.
The demise toll in Kargil now stands at 26, whereas the remainder of 18 sufferers have died in Leh district.
Out of the 80 new cases, the officers mentioned, 57 have been in Leh and 23 in Kargil.
The officers mentioned 40 sufferers in Leh and two in Kargil have been discharged on Tuesday after they recovered from the an infection, bringing down the count of lively cases to 938.
