Maharashtra’s deputy chief minister Ajit Pawar on Monday examined positive for the coronavirus illness (Covid-19), information company ANI reported.
Pawar has been admitted to a hospital in Mumbai, ANI quoted his workplace as saying.
The information comes days after former Maharashtra chief ministr and Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) chief Devendra Fadnavis examined positive for the illness.
Fadnavis on Saturday mentioned he had examined positive for coronavirus. The BJP chief was admitted to a government-run hospital in Mumbai and his situation is secure.
With 1,41,001 complete positive cases, Maharashtra continues to be the worst affected state by Covid-19 within the nation. While 14,60,755 sufferers have recovered from the illness within the state, 43,264 have died up to now.
