New Delhi. Menstruation cycle ie the problem of menstruation is seen as a disease all over the world. While this is a completely normal biological process. This has been or is a subject which is not discussed openly in our country due to various reasons. Talking about young girls, this time is very stressful for them. It also becomes very difficult to reach the right information about this to young girls so that it can help in understanding the changes taking place in the body during this period. In view of this problem, 11-year-old girl Ayesha Goyal from Ahmedabad, Gujarat has taken an important initiative. Ayesha saw her friends struggling with the same issue and created an app called Free Flo. This is your easy-to-use, one-stop-destination for young girls who want to get information about menstruation. From here she can also track her menstruation cycle. Speaking about the app, Ayesha Goyal, a student of WhiteHat Jr said, “Young girls often find it very difficult to talk to elders about menstruation. The hesitation about the subject means that any young girl has only a few chances to find out about it from a trusted adult. I have seen my friends struggle to gain insight and understand why their bodies are going through certain changes. They wanted to know more but did not know whom to ask about it. In fact, most of the apps focused on menstruation are geared towards adult women, not young girls. That’s where I got the idea to create an app that provides information about menstrual health. Along with this, I have added more services like tracking period dates and chat bot to answer questions related to related problems like back pain, acne and cramps. Ayesha’s mentor Perna Mehta, who guided her through the project, said, “Ayesha is a very intelligent child. He has sympathized with the problems of some of his friends and has offered solutions. He has worked hard for this. Free Flo is a simple app and very interesting. From here young girls can easily get information. I am extremely proud to have had the opportunity to guide Ayesha in this project. Ayesha’s mother Sheleja said, “As a mother of a young girl, I understand the kind of support our daughters need during menstruation. However, not every girl in India is lucky enough to have This allows her to communicate freely with her family and friends. Free Flo, an app created by Ayesha, is designed keeping in mind such needs. It will help young girls to manage their menstruation. In our society It is heartening to see her make efforts to solve the problems faced by the girls. Her friends have been extremely supportive of the work she has done. In fact, they also gave feedback to enhance the app. We all hope Doing that Ayesha will continue to create more interesting applications like this.”
