Mumbai: Woman held for killing neighbour’s 4-year-old son
A 39-year-old girl from Mumbai was arrested for allegedly killing her neighbours four-year-old son over an outdated dispute, police stated on Wednesday.
The accused, recognized as Madhu Gadhe, referred to as the boy to her residence in a chawl at Santoshi Mata Nagar in suburban Andheri late Monday evening and allegedly strangulated him with a pair of leggings, a police official stated.
She then dumped him head down in a water-filled bucket in her toilet, a police official stated.
In the meantime, when the boy’s mom couldn’t discover him, she checked the homes of all neighbours, however Gadhe didn’t permit her to enter her place, he stated.
Later, the boy’s mom and different neighbours one way or the other managed to enter Gadhe’s home and located the kid’s body in her toilet, the official added.
Gadhe was arrested on Tuesday and a case was registered against her under Indian Penal Code Section 302 (homicide), Sahar police station’s senior inspector Shashikant Mane stated.
