Nawazuddin Siddiqui is in the news these days for his bungalow in Mumbai. Pictures of Nawazuddin’s luxurious house in Mumbai recently appeared on social media, which looks no less than a palace from outside. It is said that this house has been designed by Nawazuddin himself and it is very similar to the house in UP Budhana where he spent his childhood. Recently Nawazuddin also talked about his house. His fans will be happy to hear what Nawazuddin has to say about his house in a conversation with Bombay Times. He said, ‘Today my personal bathroom is as big as my house used to be when I came to Mumbai. I lived in a very small space, which I used to share with four other people who were trying to become actors. Nawazuddin said, ‘That room was so small that if I opened the door, it would hit someone’s feet, because when we used to sleep, our bed was on the ground. Gradually I started sharing my room with three people and then with two people and then from the year 2005 I started living alone. Nawazuddin named his house as ‘Nawab’ after his father. He also told that his father does not want to live in Mumbai house. Talking about the design of this house, Nawazuddin said, ‘I am lucky that I get a view of greenery from all the windows of my house. I am a down to earth person who likes to stay connected to my roots. When you see it from outside, it will feel desi. There are seven rooms and two large drawing rooms. There is also a theater hall. I have put both my soul and my heart into it, as I have chosen the colours, the wood I have chosen, when you enter this house you will feel like you have entered an old British house.’
