new Delhi. Ltd. on Thursday opened its largest experience store globally at Brigade Road, Bengaluru. The sales of its popular products like mobile phones are almost the same across offline and online channels but the electronics giant has decided to double the sales at brick and mortar stores to add to the customers. OnePlus India CEO Navneet Nakra told TOI, “In the last 3-4 years, we have grown from a digital-first brand to a brand with extremely high commitment to offline sales. In less than three years, we had hardly 3,000 offline points of sale. We expect to have 15,000 point of sale by the end of 2022. Navneet Nakra further added that Indian users have played an important role in the growth of the brand and continue to do so. In the year 2018, OnePlus founder Pete Lau had said that the company’s Indian reviews are higher than those of China. So this time around, Navneet Nakra said, “We thought India would be the perfect place to start with our biggest OnePlus Experience Store, called OnePlus Boulevard.” He said, “OnePlus phones are more popular among women users due to the company’s competitive pricing. But still they want to go to the store and compare three more products before taking any decision. This is the reason why. Offline stores are still extremely important to us.”
How is the Experience Store:
There are many natural and earthy elements in this experience store. Not only this, the terracotta material finishing has been done on the walls. It also houses clay and ceramic artworks from popular artists from across the country. Talking about the ground floor, a huge experience center has been built here. Here you can touch and feel all the products of the company. It also has a community zone which includes a community lounge, a gaming zone and an auditorium to host events.
