In Pakistan, even the signs of minorities remain on the marks of radical organizations. A recent example of this has been seen in Lahore. The statue of Maharaja Ranjit Singh, installed in the famous Lahore Fort here, was attacked once again on Friday. It is alleged that this attack was carried out by the banned Tehreek-e-Labbaik hardline Islamic organization in the country. This is the third attack on this idol. According to reports, the attack was carried out by the people of TLP. However, his identity has not been revealed yet. Social media videos that surfaced showed that the suspected assailant attacked the idol with his hand and broke its legs and other parts. However, by the time he did more damage, others came and stopped him. The attacker also raised slogans against Ranjit Singh. In this 9 feet statue made of bronze, Ranjit Singh is sitting on a horse and holding a sword in his hand. He is seen sitting in the garb of Sikhs. This idol was installed in June 2019. Earlier in December last year too, a man had attacked the statue. He had broken the hand of the idol. He was trying to do more harm. People had caught him too. Apart from this, once more the mob tried to damage the idol.
