TokyoOn the one hand, where the Indian para-athlete continues to shine in the Tokyo Paralympics, on the other hand, Pakistan’s account has been opened on Friday. His account is opened by discus thrower Haider Ali. Haider Ali created history for Pakistan with a throw of 55.26m. He became the first athlete from Pakistan to win a gold medal in Paralympic history. The interesting thing is that he is the athlete to win the first medal in this season as well. Earlier Pakistan’s account was not opened. He threw almost 3 meters more than the silver medalist Ukraine’s Mikola Zhabnyak (52.43), while the bronze medal in the event was won by Brazil’s Jao Viktor (51.86). It is a matter of coincidence that Pakistan has won a total of 3 medals in Paralympic history so far and all three are in Haider’s name. Haider won the silver medal in the long jump F37 at the Beijing Paralympics-2008, while he won the bronze medal in the long jump T37 at the Rio Paralympics-2016.
