new Delhi: PM Narendra Modi was honored in the parliamentary party meeting of the party today on the spectacular performance of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in the assembly elections held in five states. In the meeting, the PM slammed the BJP MPs on dynasty. The PM said that in the assembly elections, tickets have not been given to the children of BJP MPs at their behest. It is worth mentioning that BJP MP from Prayagraj Rita Bahuguna Joshi was demanding ticket for her son from Lucknow but she was not given the ticket.
Dynasty politics will not work in BJP
According to sources, PM Modi said in the meeting that if the ticket of any party leader is cut, then it is my responsibility. He also informed about Operation Ganga to rescue Indian students trapped in Ukraine in the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting. The PM made it clear in his speech that dynasty will not be encouraged in the party. He told the MPs that the politics of familyism will not work in the BJP. The PM said that the children of MPs have not been given tickets in the assembly elections at my behest. We are against dynasty politics.
PM mentioned Kashmir files in the meeting
Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi said that PM Modi also mentioned the film Kashmir Files in the BJP Parliamentary Party meeting. He said how the truth has been brought out through this film. The PM said how an ecosystem works to suppress the truth.
Rita Bahuguna’s son did not get ticket
BJP MP Rita Bahuguna Joshi had made a lot of efforts to get ticket for son Mayank Joshi from Cantt seat during the ticket distribution phase in the UP assembly elections 2022. She had even said, if son Mayank gets ticket from Cantt seat, then she will quit as MP. But even after this, the Bharatiya Janata Party did not give ticket to Mayank Joshi. Apart from this, former BJP leader of Uttarakhand Harak Singh Rawat was also asking for two tickets including his daughter-in-law, but the party did not approve the ticket to any of his family members. Later Harak Singh left BJP and joined Congress. BJP President JP Nadda, Home Minister Amit Shah, Defense Minister Rajnath Singh, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also attended the meeting. The party welcomed PM Modi with a garland. When PM Modi came to the Lok Sabha in the second phase of the budget session of Parliament on Monday, BJP members welcomed him by thumping the table and raising Modi-Modi slogans.
