Police complaint against Kareena Kapoor for hurting sentiments from the book ‘Pregnancy Bible’

A Christian group has filed a police complaint against the actress, objecting to the title of Kareena Kapoor Khan’s recently released book ‘Pregnancy Bible’. The group on Wednesday filed a complaint against Kareena and two others in Beed city of Maharashtra, accusing them of hurting the religious sentiments of the community. Ashish Shinde, president of Alpha Omega Christian Federation, lodged a complaint with the Shivaji Nagar police station in Beed regarding the book. It was told that ‘Pregnancy Bible’ is authored by Kareena Kapoor Khan and Aditi Shah Bhimjani and is published by Juggernaut Books.

Shinde said the holy word ‘Bible’ was used in the title of the book and it has hurt the sentiments of Christians. They demanded registration of a case against Kareena and two others under Section 295-A of the IPC.

FIR not registered
A police officer confirmed that the complaint has been received but no FIR has been registered. Inspector Sainatha Thombare, in-charge of Shivaji Nagar police station told news agency PTI, “We have received the complaint but no case has been registered as the incident is not from here. I have advised him to lodge a complaint in Mumbai.

Kareena told the book the third child
Let me tell you, Kareena had launched her book on July 9 and told it to be her third child. He had shared many posts on social media to promote the book. According to the actress, her personal life is mentioned in the book, how she experienced things physically and emotionally during both the times of pregnancy.
