Terrorists attacked a police inspector in Naugam, Kashmir. The policeman was martyred in the attack. According to the information, Inspector Parvez Ahmed Dar, posted in the CID wing, was returning after offering Namaz outside the Kanipora Masjid in Nowgam. The terrorists sitting ambush on the way opened fire on them. The terrorists fled from the spot after attacking. He was immediately taken to the hospital for treatment.
