PSL: Wasim Akram reprimanded Babar Azam during PSL match, now giving clarification

Lahore: (PSL) had a match between Karachi Kings and Multan Sultans on Wednesday. In this match, Karachi, captained by Babar Azam, lost by seven wickets. This is the eighth consecutive defeat of Babar’s team. The team has not yet won a single win in the league. The team has also crashed out of the round to make it to the knockout rounds of the tournament. Multan needed 29 runs in two overs to win. The team won the match with three balls remaining. Chris Jordan of England gave 20 runs in the 19th over. After the defeat of Karachi, a video is getting viral on social media. In which Wasim Akram is seen scolding Babar Azam. Former 55-year-old fast bowler Akram is the chairman of the Karachi team. Wasim Akram came under the target of social media after the video went viral. Now he has given clarification on this matter. Akram says that he is surprised by the reactions he is getting from Babar Azam on doing him after him. Wasim Akram wrote on Twitter, ‘Surprised to see the reaction to my conversation with Babar at the boundary last night. What I was saying was ‘why are our bowlers not bowling yorkers or slow bowling’. Nothing else. Babar is a wonderful boy and he has tried his best. Batting first, Karachi Kings posted a challenging total of 174 for six, thanks to the innings of Joe Clarke (40), openers Sharjeel Khan (36) and Imad Wasim (32 not out). In reply, Multan scored 176 for three with three balls to spare, thanks to a half-century from opener and captain Mohammad Rizwan (76) and his first wicket partnership of 100 runs with Shan Masood (45).
