‘Checkmate’ made on the technology of Sukhoi-57, equipped with lethal weapons

Russia presented the Sukhoi Checkmate fighter jet at its famous air show MAKS-2021 held in Moscow. It is being called a light strategic aircraft. Russia has made this aircraft based on the technology of Sukhoi-57. Russia has made this aircraft very fast and the reason for this is that it used the technology of Sukhoi-57. The single engined Sukhoi Checkmate aircraft keeps weapons concealed inside, making it unlikely to be caught on radar. For this reason it is being called the fifth generation fighter aircraft. The display near this aircraft said that the R-73 anti-air missile, R-77 anti-air missile and KH-59MK anti-ship cruise missile will be installed in the Checkmate fighter jet. This means that this aircraft can be used to gain air control and target enemy ground targets. Not only this, Checkmate will be able to carry missile-sized drones in its arsenal. This aircraft will be able to fly at an altitude of 54,000 feet with a speed of Mach 2.2.

America’s F-35 will collide, will remain out of reach of Radar

The Sukhoi Checkmate fighter jet is a fifth generation aircraft and it would be very difficult to capture it with the help of radar. Not only this, this aircraft will be unmatched in its engine power and aerial acrobatics. This will enable it to fly at supersonic speed. This state-of-the-art fighter aircraft of Russia will give a tough competition to America’s F-35 aircraft. Russian officials said the cost of a Sukhoi Checkmate fighter jet would be around $25-30 million, much less than the Rafale that India recently bought. At the same time, an American F-35 aircraft is being sold for $ 80 million. Thus the Sukhoi Checkmate will be way ahead of the F-35 aircraft in terms of pricing as well. Due to having one engine, this aircraft will be very light. Many experts are comparing it with the MiG-21 aircraft of Russia. The US had built its F-16 aircraft to compete with the MiG-21. Russian aircraft maker Sukhoi says a prototype of the Checkmate aircraft will fly in 2023 and deliveries could begin in 2026. He also said that this new model can be converted into a pilotless aircraft or a two-seater fighter aircraft.

Russia also offered Sukhoi Checkmate aircraft to India

On this occasion, Russia has also offered its state-of-the-art aircraft Checkmate to India. The official video of the event shows Checkmate being built for export. This aircraft can be sold to UAE, India, Vietnam and Argentina. Russia’s Deputy PM Yuri Borisov said that it has definitely been made for African countries, India and Vietnam. The demand for such aircraft is very high. We estimate that more than 300 fighter jets will be sold in the coming future. Let us tell you that India is a huge buyer of Russian weapons. India has so far bought several classes of fighter jets from Sukhoi and MiG companies of Russia. India is currently using MiG-21, Sukhoi-30 MKI, MiG-29 fighter aircraft. The strike range of this aircraft is about 3000 km, so that it will be capable of attacking a very long distance. Russia has introduced this aircraft at a time when India is going to buy 114 fighter jets. Russia has already offered India Sukhoi-35 and MiG-35.
