Pramod TiwariBhilwara. In Rajasthan assembly elections to be held after two years (2023), there has been a ruckus for several days regarding the CM face of the Bharatiya Janata Party. But in the meantime, on Monday, former minister Kalu Lal Gurjar has created another new trouble for the state BJP by calling himself a contender for the post of CM. While interacting with the media at the BJP District Office in Bhilwara, the former Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Minister surprised everyone by saying that one thing came in front of me that sir, he also wants to become the Chief Minister, he also wants to become the Chief Minister, then which one should I be? I am bad also I want my party to give me a chance to become chief minister. Gurjar said, ‘I promise in front of you that I will not do it’. Former minister Kalulal Gurjar did not stop here and further said, ‘I did not ask anyone to become the Chief Minister but it is my heart’s consent, it is my wish which I am expressing in front of the party to make me the Chief Minister’. Also said that ‘I would like to fight the next election from my assembly constituency Mandal’. Kalu Lal Gurjar is a senior BJP leader in Bhilwara district. In 1990, he was elected MLA for the first time from Mandal assembly constituency and was made Minister of State for Mines in Bhairu Singh’s cabinet. After this, Kalu Lal Gurjar once again became MLA from Mandal assembly constituency in 1993, but this time he was not included in the cabinet. Kalu Lal Gurjar became MLA from Mandal assembly constituency for the third time in the 2003 assembly elections and was made the cabinet minister of panchayat raj and rural development in the Vasundhara Raje cabinet. Kalu Lal Gurjar became MLA for the fourth time in the 2013 elections and was made the party’s chief whip in the Vasundhara Raje regime. Thus Kalu Lal Gurjar is not a novice in the BJP. He has been an MLA for 4 times. Has been a minister twice and chief whip once. In such a situation, this statement of Kalu Lal Gurjar is going to create trouble for the BJP. Because the former minister Gurjar has also been the president of Rajasthan Pradesh Gurjar Mahasabha, which has a large caste base. The biggest thing is that former minister Kalulal Gurjar claimed to become his Chief Minister in the official press conference of Bharatiya Janata Party in the presence of BJP District President Ladu Lal Teli, BJP MP Subhash Bahedia and BJP city MLA from Bhilwara Vitthal Shankar Awasthi. There is already a conflict in the BJP over the names of former Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje, BJP State President Satish Poonia and Union Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for the CM face in the next assembly elections. In such a situation, the claim of Gurjar becoming the Chief Minister will increase the trouble of the BJP.
