RCB vs SRH Highlights: De Villiers could not hit a six off the last ball, Bhuvneshwar helped Hyderabad win the honor

Sunrisers Hyderabad won the battle of honor in the Indian Premier League on Wednesday. Bhuvneshwar Kumar wrote the victory story of his victory against the Royal Challengers Bangalore, captained by Virat Kohli. Bangalore needed 13 runs to win in the last over, while 6 runs off the last ball. There was AB de Villiers on the field, but he could not make a charismatic shot off Bhuvneshwar and Hyderabad won by 4 runs. In the match, Hyderabad scored 141 runs for 7 wickets, while Bangalore could only manage 137 runs for 6 wickets. Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) restricted Sunrisers Hyderabad to a score of 141 for seven, led by fast bowlers Harshal Patel and Dan Christian. The Hyderabad batsmen failed to put up a big total against the effective bowling of Harshal Patel (3 for 33), Christian (2 for 14) and Yuzvendra Chahal (1 for 27). Ahmed and Mohammad Siraj, while bowling economical, conceded 21 and 17 runs in four and three overs respectively but they did not get any wickets. Apart from Jason Roy (44) and captain Kane Williamson (31), no batsman could play for Hyderabad. Both also shared a 70-run partnership for the second wicket. The Hyderabad batsmen could only add 50 runs in the last eight overs. RCB captain Virat Kohli won the toss and invited Hyderabad team to bat. Abhishek Sharma (13) hit a four and a six off successive deliveries from George Garten in the second over. On the fourth ball, Mohammad Siraj dropped his catch at fine leg but on the next ball he was caught at mid-on by Glenn Maxwell. Williamson started his innings with two fours on Siraj. Opener Roy also hit a four on Garten. Hyderabad team scored 50 runs in one wicket in the power play. Left-arm spinner Shahbaz and leg-spinner Chahal put an end to the run-rate. Roy and Williamson played some good shots in the middle. Williamson, however, failed to capitalize on a good start and was bowled by Harshal. He hit four fours while facing 29 balls. Priyam Garg (15) completed the team’s century in the 14th over by hitting a six on Chahal. In the same over, the umpire gave Roy a catch behind the wicket but the decision went in favor of the batsman on taking DRS. Christian gave a double blow to Sunrisers by dismissing Garg and Roy in the 15th over. Garg gave a catch to AB de Villiers at deep midwicket while Roy returned to the pavilion with a catch back to the bowler. Roy faced 38 balls and hit five fours. Chahal lbw Abdul Samad (01) to make Sunrisers 117 for five. Wriddhiman Saha too, after scoring 10 runs in eight balls, was caught by de Villiers off Harshal. Jason Holder meanwhile tries to increase the run rate with fours on Christian and Herschel. He returned to the pavilion on the last ball after scoring 16 runs.
