New Delhi. The Chinese smartphone maker wants to expand its footprint in the mobile market in both premium and affordable categories. During the company’s 5G summit, Madhav Seth, CEO of Realme India and Europe, has said that the company is focusing on 5G smartphones in the coming months, which cost $ 100 i.e. around Rs 7,500. These devices will be part of Realme’s expansion strategy. They aim to increase the number of 5G devices in their portfolio to over 20. This move makes it clear that more than 70 percent of the devices sold by Realme in different markets will be 5G based. Realme has recently taken a big step towards 5G devices in the budget and mid-range segment. At present, Realme’s most affordable 5G phone costs around Rs 15,000. At the same time, the price of the upcoming 5G smartphone can be less than Rs 10,000. The company is working on making these phones very affordable so that even low budget users can use a good device. Apart from this, Madhav Seth also told that the Realme GT 5G smartphone will be launched globally this month. The company is trying hard to diversify its range of smartphones which includes number series phones from Realme, affordable smartphones, mid-range Narzo series, flagship grade models. At the moment, it is not yet clear which devices the company will offer in the Rs 10,000 range. It can be said that this move of the company can be similar to the strategy of 4G devices in the smartphone market. It is expected that with the way 5G connectivity is premiering in markets across the world, the prices of telecom plans and devices may come down in the coming times. In such a situation, the way the company has projected the prices of its devices and gifted the latest connectivity to the users, it will become very important for the users by next year.
