Moscow: Russia’s military said on Sunday that some of its soldiers in Ukraine had suffered casualties. Russia has admitted for the first time that its soldiers have been killed in an attack on Ukraine. “Some of our soldiers have lost their lives and some have been injured,” Major General Igor Konashenkov, spokesman for Russia’s defense ministry, said on Sunday. He did not disclose the number of dead and injured. Major General Konashenkov said Russia had suffered “significantly less” damage than Ukrainian troops. At the same time, Ukraine claims that it killed three and a half thousand Russian soldiers. Konashenkov also said that since the launch of the attack on Thursday, Russian forces have targeted 1,067 military bases in the UK, including 17 command posts and contact centers, 38 air defense missile systems and 56 radar systems. The claims of Konashenkov and Ukraine could not be independently verified.
