Sachin Tendulkar donates medical equipments to Assam hospital

Cricket icon Sachin Tendulkar has donated medical equipments to a charitable hospital in Assam, a shift will advantage over 2,000 kids coming from underprivileged families.

Tendulkar, who can also be the ‘Goodwill ambassador of UNICEF’, has donated equipments required within the Paediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) and Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) to the Makunda hospital positioned in Assam’s Karimganj district.

Tendulkar’s foundation has also helped in offering diet and training to tribal communities in madhya Pradesh and this initiative can even assist plenty of under-privileged communities within the North East.

Dr Vijay Anand Isamael, Paediatric Surgeon, Makunda Hospital thanked the legendary batsman for the help stating:” The grant from the Sachin Tendulkar Foundation with aid from Ekam Foundation will assist us to offer finer providers at low prices to the poor individuals who are available in giant numbers on this space.”
