SharjahCaptain Virat Kohli’s (Last Match As RCB Captain) dream of winning the IPL trophy for Royal Challengers Bangalore got shattered with the defeat against Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR). KKR won the match by 4 wickets to make it to the second qualifier, where they will face Delhi Capitals, who lost to Chennai Super Kings in the first qualifier. After this blazing victory, KKR captain Ian Morgan was seen praising mystery spinner Sunil Narine. Describing Sunil as a great after the match, he said, ‘Narayan made victory easy. Wonderful bowling on the difficult wicket of Sharjah. After the first 6 overs, we got wickets at regular intervals, which turned the game around. The credit for this goes to Narayan. He is a true great bowler of T20 cricket. It is indeed a matter of pride to have him in our team. It is noteworthy that Sunil Narine (4/21) did wonders with the ball, as well as he played a stormy innings of 26 runs in just 15 balls with the help of 3 sixes. He was adjudged man of the match for this match winning performance. This was the first time since 2015 that Narayan took 4 wickets in the IPL. In the Eliminator match of IPL 2021 held at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, RCB captain Virat Kohli won the toss and elected to bat. Batting first, RCB scored 138 for seven in 20 overs. Chasing the target, KKR’s team won the match by scoring 139 runs for six wickets in 19.4 overs. Mohammad Siraj, Yuzvendra Chahal and Harshal Patel got two wickets each for RCB.
