However, private telecom companies like Airtel, Vi and Jio have been offering 4G services to their users for many years. Now these 5G services can also start giving from 2023. Let us tell you that BSNL intends to install 1 lakh telecom towers across India and 40,000 telecom towers in Bihar only.

BSNL 4G to be launched in India soon
BSNL Consumer Mobility Director Sushil Kumar Mishra said, “BSNL will offer 4G service with Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) as its technology partner. This will be the first time that Indian technology / Indian technology will be used for 4G service. ” Apart from this, he also said, “BSNL plans to build 1 lakh telecom towers across the country including at least 4,000 in Bihar. It will also provide its 4G service in Delhi and Mumbai. Mishra further adds, “Smart towers Instead, BSNL will start with monopolies, which are less costly and more effective. In fact BSNL has seen a steady increase in its subscriber base with 11 lakh new users added in December alone.” It is worth noting that this will not be the first time, when we have heard about BSNL 4G connectivity. While on one hand the company is preparing to announce its 4G connectivity, other telecom companies like Vodafone Idea, Airtel and Reliance Jio have started 5G connectivity trials in the country. In such a situation, 4G connectivity of BSNL will become a bit old, because the 4G series of other companies have been around for years. However, it will have a significant impact on rural and remote areas.
