NEW DELHI: The Health ministry on Tuesday mentioned it could be “completely unjustified” to say that deaths due Covid-19 are being under-reported within the nation.
Responding to a query, health ministry Secretary Rajesh Bhushan mentioned media reviews claiming under-reporting of Covid-19 deaths within the nation is “mere conjecture”.
He mentioned that within the preliminary section of the pandemic, the ministry had issued clear-cut regulations in session with the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) and retaining in view the WHO regulations on learn how to report deaths.
