UP's Covid-19 tally mounts to 358,893 with 4,703 new cases; toll at 5,135

Briefing reporters right here, Additional Chief Secretary (Medical and Health) Amit Mohan Prasad stated 2,89,594 COVID-19 sufferers have recovered from the viral illness and have been discharged.

The restoration rate of the state is 80.69 per cent, he stated.

Prasad stated 4,703 recent COVID-19 cases have been reported within the state, whereas up to now 5,135 COVID-19 sufferers have succumbed to the illness.

The tally of positive COVID-19 cases within the state stands at 64,164, he stated.

He stated on Sunday, over 1.35 lakh samples have been examined, and until now greater than 86 lakh samples have been examined within the state.
