Russia-Ukraine Crisis: Humanity is tested only in difficult times. The daughter of India has set an example for this. At a time when thousands of people are fleeing Ukraine facing Russian attack and are desperate to go to other countries for asylum, a medical student from Haryana in Ukraine refused to return (Student Refuses To Leave Ukraine) ) Is done. Haryana’s Neha (Indian student denied coming to India), studying medicine in Ukraine, has refused to leave the war-torn country even after getting a chance to leave there. A friend of Neha’s mother has shared the Facebook post. He told that 17-year-old Neha did not get a place in the hostel. In such a situation, she was living on rent a room with a lovely family with three children. Amidst the Russian attack, the father of the children has joined the army of his own volition. Mother with three children is in a bunker. Neha is also with him. Instead of returning to India, Neha has opted to stay there with their three children. Neha’s mother approached the embassy with great difficulty and tried to get the daughter out of there. But, he refused to come back leaving those three children and their mother alone in such difficult times. Neha is determined to stay there till the end of the war. Neha’s mother is a teacher in Charkhi Dadri district of Haryana. Neha has told her mother, ‘Whether I should be alive or not, but in such situations I will not leave these children and their mother.’ Neha’s father was in the Indian Army. A few years back, the shadow of the father has been removed from the daughter’s head. Last year, Neha got admission in a medical college in Ukraine. Neha, an MBBS student, had rented a room in a construction engineer’s house in Kiev. He had to do so because of not getting a room in the hostel. Savita Jakhar, a close friend of Neha’s mother, has told in a Facebook post that Neha refused to come from Ukraine despite all the advisories and government arrangements to leave the country. Savita wrote, ‘My friend contacted the Embassy with great difficulty and tried to get Neha out of there. It is another matter that leaving those three children and their mother alone in such a difficult time, she does not want to come back. Despite her mother’s best efforts, she is adamant on staying there till the end of the war. I am wondering what is it that is giving that girl the courage to stand by that family even in such difficult times? He knows that in such a situation his life can also be lost, but he cares more about the lives of those three little children than his own life… he is more concerned about the mother who is alone with her children than her mother …!!’
