Unseeded Czech Republic’s Barbora Krzykova also clinched the doubles title the very next day after winning the women’s singles title of the French Open at Roland Garros. Krejcikova, 25, won the women’s doubles title with compatriot Katarina Siniakova on Sunday. Second-seeded Czech pair won the women’s doubles final with a 6-4 6-2 win over Poland’s Inga Swietek and Bethany Mattek Sandus of America.

Krzykova is currently the only active player to have won a Grand Slam title in a single season in singles, doubles and mixed categories. Before him, Marie Piusse of France won two titles in a season in 2000. Krecikova has become only the seventh female player in history to have won singles and doubles titles at Roland Garros.
