BJP announced many big schemes for farmers, Akhilesh Yadav has already made many announcements on the issue of farmers. At the same time, when Priyanka Gandhi released the Congress manifesto, she talked about loan waiver for farmers. Apart from this, his focus was also on stray animals. Announcements made regarding women of Bharatiya Janata Party:
Under the Chief Minister Sumangala Yojana, the financial assistance will be increased from 15 thousand to 25 thousand rupees. Under the Chief Minister’s Mass Marriage Grant Scheme, financial assistance up to one lakh rupees will be provided for the marriage of daughters of poor families. All the beneficiaries of Pradhan Mantri Ujjwala Yojana will be given two free LPG cylinders on Holi and Deepawali. Free travel in public transport will be arranged for women above 60 years of age. Mission Pink Toilet will be started at a cost of 1000 crores. Under this, construction and maintenance of toilets for women will be ensured in all public places. The pension for widows and destitute women will be increased to Rs 1500 per month. The security of women will be further ensured by doubling the network of three new women battalions. CCTV cameras will be installed near all public places and educational institutions. 3000 Pink Police booths will be set up. Avanti Bai Lodhi Self Help Group Mission will be started at a cost of 5000 crores. Under this, 5 lakh new women self-help groups will be formed. About one crore women working in self-help groups will be provided loans up to Rs 1 lakh at the lowest rate through self-reliant SHG credit cards. The number of women in government jobs will be doubled, including in the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission. Free scooty will be distributed under Rani Laxmibai Yojana to make the meritorious college going girl students self-reliant. Health insurance will be provided to all Anganwadi workers and health sakhis on mission mode under Ayushman Bharat. State Talent Search and Development Scheme will be started at a cost of 500 crores. Under this, financial assistance of up to Rs 5 lakh will be provided to the selected female athletes.
Announcements made regarding women of Samajwadi Party:
Women will be given 33 percent reservation in government jobs. A separate wing of women will be set up in the police. FIR will be arranged through e-mail, WhatsApp by strengthening women power line 1090. Women entrepreneurs will be promoted. Women teachers will be given the option during their posting. Women teachers will not be engaged in non-academic work including election duty. Girls will be given free education from KG to PG. Kanya Vidyadhan Yojana will be started again. A lump sum amount of 36 thousand will be given to the 12th pass student. Special emphasis will be given on girl child education. The girl students will get the benefit of free bus travel. 50 percent representation will be given to girl students in laptop distribution. Samajwadi Pension Scheme will start again. 18 thousand pension will be given every year to old age, women and BPL families.
Announcements made regarding women of Congress:
Scooty will be given to girl students who perform better in class 10th and 12th. Scooty will be given to every girl student of graduation level. According to the reservation provisions in the new government posts, 40 percent women will be appointed. Safe and state-of-the-art hostels for working women will be set up in 25 cities. Women will be given priority in MNREGA. The honorarium of Anganwadi workers will be Rs 10,000 per month. Management and operation of 50 percent ration shops will be given to women. To take the girls forward in education, the girl students of class XII will be given smart phones. 75 schools will be constructed in the name of veterans in the state. Provision will be made for free travel for women in government buses. Three LPG cylinders will be given free of cost in a year. One thousand rupees will be given to the elderly and disabled women. Fixed deposit FD will be made in the name of every child born in the family. 25 percent women will be appointed in the UP police force. Women constables will be compulsorily posted in every police station. In case of any type of disease, treatment up to Rs 10 lakh will be given free of cost. Menstrual items and medicines will be supplied free of cost in educational institutions and other important establishments.
