According to Pakistani media reports, the MPs of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Party started shouting slogans and making noise on Sharif’s speech. He even started throwing away copies of his own government’s budget. After this, leaders of his party Pakistan Muslim League-Nationalist and other members of opposition parties surrounded him. Speaker Asad Kaiser kept on interrupting but the noise did not subside. At the same time, Shahbaz continued to speak wearing headphones. In the videos that surfaced on social media, the leaders are seen abusing them.

PTI leaders have been accused
A few days ago, Dr Firdous Ashiq Awan, a close aide of Prime Minister Imran Khan, slapped a Pakistani MP during the recording of a TV show. The victim MP was Qadir Mandokhel of Bilawal Bhutto’s party PPP. During the recording of the TV show, Firdous Ashiq Awan became so enraged that he licked the MP Qadir.

The incident of assault is not new
Earlier, a video of Pakistan’s Sindh Assembly regarding the Senate elections also went viral in which it was seen that the leaders of Imran’s party were fighting among themselves. Three party leaders had announced that they would vote in the Senate elections not according to party lines, but according to their will and discretion. He had accused him of giving tickets by taking money in the distribution of election tickets. Angered by this, other leaders of PTI beat up the ‘rebel’ leaders inside the house.
